In 2019, we embarked on an adventurous journey by selling our Southern California home along with the majority of our belongings. With our kids and dogs in tow, we loaded up our vintage RV and set out on a cross-country adventure to a rustic cabin we had purchased without ever laying eyes on it beforehand.
We traded traffic and palm trees for serene lakes, towering pines, and a generous helping of snow. We embraced a whole new way of living. Here, our closest neighbors are the enchanting wildlife that includes bears, deer, and turkeys.
Our dream was always to renovate houses, but in pricey Southern California, that dream required deep pockets we didn't have. So, we decided to move closer to our family in a quiet Poconos town, just two hours from New York City. And this is where we began restoring quaint cabins in need of love.
Since our move, we've successfully renovated and sold multiple cabins. We've also taken on renovation projects for fellow cabin enthusiasts. Now, our focus has shifted to providing vacation rental experiences, allowing others to savor the unique cabin lifestyle we've cherished in the picturesque Poconos. Excitingly, our inaugural vacation rental property is slated to open its doors in Spring 2024!
